What are we About?
“Showing you the unimaginable, taking you to the unreachable, giving you experiences you never thought possible”
Our business has been developed out of a desire to bring to New Zealand a person who wants to enjoy the culture, scenery and adventure that comes with travelling but may need a bit of extra help along the way.
Our tours are specialised for travelers with physical disabilities or who have limited mobility. This can be permanent or temporary disabilities, senior travelers, parents with strollers and any other traveler who may require extra assistance.
Our CORE VALUES are simple but powerful: EMPATHY, HONESTY, RELIABILITY
We are about experiencing what life has to offer and enjoying every moment. We are about letting go of inhibitions and just going with the flow. We are not about the standard tourist trail but about “Showing you the unimaginable, Taking you to the unreachable and giving you an experience you never thought possible. Accessible New Zealand and Accessible Kiwi Tours have been operating for over twenty years.
I live in a beautiful and amazing country in which I have traveled extensively for both work and play. My hobbies and interests are wide and varied. I enjoy the outdoors whether at the beach or in the hills and will go camping and kayaking at every opportunity. There is nothing like sleeping under the stars while listening to the thunder of the ocean or a running stream and awakening to the amazing native birdsong of the tui and bellbird. New Zealand has all this and more. Nowhere is more than a couple of hours away. It is our secret to share with you.
I enjoy meeting people of all interests and backgrounds. Everyone has a special story.
My job is the best in the world – sharing my home “The Real New Zealand” with you on a personal level !. You will meet the locals “everyday kiwis” at a relaxed and gentle pace whilst experiencing more than just the pictorial grandeur of New Zealand.
I look forward to taking you on a journey that will be a once in a lifetime experience for us both.
I am in my late fifties and have lived “off the land” in rural New Zealand most of my life, so have a great appreciation of our beautiful country.
My two adult children and three grandchildren are a wonderful part of my life. I enjoy the bush, lakes, beaches, history and nature that abounds for which New Zealand is world famous.
I welcome the opportunity to share my knowledge and experiences with you.
